Half-Life 2 Saying HL2.exe not responding

How do I fix my Half-Life 2 crashing all the time at launch?
I had tried re-installing it, verifying game integrity, everything, every fix,
nothing's working! I can play Garry's Mod fine, but HL2 is my issue. These
are my laptop specs:

Core: Intel Core i7-3740QM 2.70 GHz @ 2.70 GHz
RAM: 1500 MHz 8 GB DDR4
Hard Disk: 500GB Seagate Momentus Thin
Operating System: Windows 7 32 bit
Video Card: NVidia NVS 5200M

Can someone tell me how I fix this?!
Edit: I tried every method, what is happening?! I tried using parameters, didn't work.

Have you tried CCleaner? https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
Might be registry errors, software conflicts, or other crap that CCleaner will get rid of.
Also, disable as much stuff starting with windows as possible. Look in your Tray fro stuff that can be run on an as-need basis rather than start with windows every time.
Finally, run malwarbytes to get rid of malware that can be causing those issues. https://www.malwarebytes.org/antimalware/
