Hi everyone!
I hope you guys are able to help me, this is really getting up to my nerves, my computer freezes randomly whenever I am gaming (In a range from 10 minutes to 2 hours) The only way to turn it down is using the reset/power button, I tried everything to locate which of my components is the faulty one.
Going to make a quick list about what I tried:
- Formatted my hard drive several times.
- I've used memtest on both of my memories (24 hours each one, no issues).
- Used HeavyLoad (Software to make a CPU use 100% of its capacity) several times for 10-15 mins per test, no issues.
- Used Heaven Benchmark 4.0
- Upgraded my BIOS
- Used borrowed memories
I am pretty sure that my computer is not overheating because I have a dedicated fan to very component and I always check is there is any abnormal temperature.
Now, the weird part is that when I remove my graphic card (GTX 760) and put my old card in the same PCI-E Slot (GTX 440) I can play normally and the PC doesn't freeze.
My components are:
Motherboard: Asus Crosshair Formula - Z
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8gb (DDR3) x2
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 760 4GB
CPU: AMD FX-9590
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 800W
Any suggestion?
