Hello,

I have my Asus VS247HR monitor connected via HDMI on my mobo GA-B150-HD3P and the problem is that when I turn on my pc I have to manually turn on the monitor (power off and then on) to get it woke up.

So my question is what do I have to do to get this monitor working as it should be.

Thanks,
Theodosis

Solution
I suggest you give DVI a try as this is a pure digital signal and I know some monitors have problems with their drivers and it results in issues like yours or corrupted display.

I don't think that this monitor has auto mode...... or at least I can't seem to find it.

One more thing, it detects my monitor as digital tv. Is this the problem and how can I make it recognize it as a monitor?

Glad you got it working. If you really want to use the HDMI you can make a system restore and install the most up to date monitor driver from Asus as it is possible you have an out dated driver and they have fixed the issue. If it does not work you can just do a roll back with system restore.
