So my laptops hard drive ended up frying so I replaced it with a new 1TB Seagate SSHD. Now my
Laptop doesn't have a cd drive to install Windows via a disk. I googled how to install Windows via a USB so I downloaded the Windows 7 ISO file on my wife's laptop and reformatted a brand new USB and used some sort of downloaded tool to put the file on the USB. I followed the directions to the T and it everything seemed to work until I put the USB into my laptop with the new hard drive. I went into the BIOS menu and made it boot from the USB and even tried all of my USB ports but it continues to say "Checking media" followed by "checking media (fail)". Any ideas on what I need to do in order to properly boot from and install Windows the from USB?
