Specs:

CPU: AMD FX-9590
SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 120 GB SSD
Water Cooler: Seidon 280L CoolerMaster Liquid CPU Cooler
Memory: 2x4GB Corsair Memory
Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 AM3+ rev 4.0
Video Card: Gigabyte Windforce GTX 980 Superclocked 4GB
Case:Coolermaster Cosmos II Ultra Tower Black Edition

Keyboard: CM Storm Keyboard (LED Backlit)
Mouse: Logitech M325
Monitor: BenQ RL2755 Professional Gaming Monitor 1ms 1920x1080

I also have a r9 280x 3GB on the side. IceQ model.

The GTX 980 arrived during December last month. Completely new. Wondering if I should just sell it seperately and sell r9 280x with build instead.

Monitor is also completely new from December.

As it is, this computer does not support wireless, a CD drive ( never needed one), and HDD. I do have a 1 TB HDD but I need those files for future use.

Finished with gaming and want to get this out of my place. Selling it on craigslist. Tips?

To me, in my mind anyways, the 980 is a Pariah. For 1080p gaming that extra 20% performance over a much cheaper 970 isn't worth the price difference. And with the 980ti out, and what it'll do for 1440p+ gaming, the 980 looses out.

As for the cpu, you can pretty much get the same performance from a much cheaper 8350, so basically you could build an 8350 + 970 with a 1080p monitor brand new, for about $1100 US and not be able to tell the difference between the 2 systems.

Probably just under $1k. I got around $970 just adding the parts in my head. People will probably want a break seeing as they are buying everything, so probably $900ish?

Edit: That doesn't include the 280X. I think those go for around $150ish used.

Going with the new monitor too? It is more than $300.

Forgot to mention I am in Canada.

It's still a 1080 monitor. The 1ms is great, but I can still get a brand new 1080 monitor for $100ish. I gave it the value of $100 because of this. You might think you have tons of awesome expensive stuff there, but other then the 980 I see nothing really expensive/valuable. It's enough to add up to ~$1k, but you aren't going to get $1500+ from this.

Edited for general spelling.

I don't have a ton of expensive stuff right here. I have checked pc part picker and all that for a better estimate.

Thanks for the tip though!

So, this, with full vendor and factory warranty, brand new (not the cheapest parts either) or your system with no warranties and the same basic performance at 1080p. You'll not be able to expect anything close to retail prices on used parts, no matter how good or expensive they were new.
