My setup:

CPU: I5 4690k
Mothterboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X Gaming 3
RAM: G.Skills Trident X 16gb (2x8) 2133mhz
Storage: Samsumg 850 evo 120mb SSD & WD 1tb HDD
Video Card: EVGA Geforce GTX 960 SuperSC ACX 2.0+
Cooler: EVO 212
PSU; Corsair RM850
Case: Zalman Z11 NEO

This is my son's gaming PC. When I built it around Christmas time, I installed Windows 10 on the SSD, and we've never seen his HDD to be able to save or transfer any files to when we open File Explorer.

Because of the small size of his SSD, and after he saved some of his games to it, he now only has 21gb of free space left on it.

My experience and technical knowledge of what I'm doing with this really only consists of the product research, the build, and the initial setup.

Please help me and tell me how to find and see his HDD so that we can transfer some things to it, and also save new stuff to it instead of only using the SSD.

Thank you everyone!

You'll have to initialize the disk in Disk Management: http://www.overclock.net/t/1227647/how-to-initialize-and-format-a-new-disk-for-use-in-windows

As for how to direct things to the HDD, it depends on what you're doing, but the idea is the same.

If you're downloading files, for example, all you have to do is direct the download to the HDD when you're asked where you want to save your file.

Same goes for game and program installations - during the setup there will always be a screen that asks where you want to install the program.

Thank you. Unfortunately he just went to bed and the PC is in his room. I'll attempt the Computer Management way first thing tomorrow and post an update/results.
