It may depend whether you've got rev1 or rev2 of that board. It's not really designed for overclocking i5's. If you've installed certain windows updates or are running win10 you may have difficulty since intel released microcode that disables overclocking on non z series boards. If you do manage to get an overclock I would suspect a mild overclock.
Pentium's run into the same issue with the microcode update but if able to overclock would likely do better since they're smaller dual core chips. For i5's and i7's it would be better to use an appropriate z97 board.
