If you dont want to change any other piece, you must buy a 4º generation CPU, like I7 4770(k) or I7 4790(k). Tha done, you need to open your case, "unplug" your CPU cooler and remove the secutiry bar, which is located just aside of the CPU. Then you can just pick up your old CPU and plug the new one. Put again the security bar, place your CPU cooler properly and close your case. Still, you should better check some youtube tutorial to follow it step by step. It is an easy process, but it always feels like fearing for the first time.

The 4460 and 4790K are both Haswell refresh chips. I don't see any need to enter bios. The motherboard should detect the new CPU with no problems. If you have some specific cpu related bios settings you made yourself you could always enter bios and load setup defaults and save/reboot.
