I can't decide between these 2. Both are 6th gen models released in 3rd Quarter of 2015.
i3 6100 - 3M Cache, 3.70 GHz - 2 cores, 4 Threads

i5 6500 - 6M Cache, up to 3.60 GHz (3.2 base frequency) - 4 cores, 4 Threads
I want to ask which one will be more efficient for gaming?
Also will the i3 be future proof? What about new games being developed for processors with more cores?
I am really confused. The i3 6100 costs Rs. 10350 ($154) and the i5 6500 costs Rs. 16900 ($252) in India.
The Rs. 6550 ($97) means a lot to me because I am on a tight budget. So please advise me which one to choose.
Also for your information I am stuck with NVIDIA 750 Ti graphics and I have no other choice with a very strict budget. If possible I will do an upgrade in future but for now, it's 750 Ti. (with 8 GB DDR4 RAM)
Please help me.
