I'm trying to install a PCIe USB 3 card in my computer running XP SP3 but the drivers won't load.

I bought this card ORICO PVU3-5O2I and I can't get it to work. When I run the setup files on he install disk I get and error message that they're corrupt. I down load another set of drivers from the web site and recommended by Orico and I get another error message "Sorry the install wizard can't find the proper components for the current platform. Please press OK to terminate the install wizard." Orico tech support tells me that I have a problem on my computer with my current USB drivers but everything is working OK and nothing is in yellow in Device Manager other that this card. Does their reason make sense?

I've read some mostly negative buyer reviews on that brand (and that product in particular), issues with inability to install, driver problems etc., the same issues you outlined above.

If you can I would get a refund and by a different brand, possibly a brand well known for such components (such as StarTech). Pay a bit more if you have to -- worth it just to be free of the hassle & having a product that actually works.

Had the same problem becuse the CD that came with the ORico box didn't work, and Orico website ZIP also didn't install properly, so I went to Via.com website and downloaded driver from that site and it works! If you run XP you need VIA_XHCI_DRIVER_V4.4 , if you use WIN 7 upwards choose the other relevant driver.
Good luck!
