Alright so I just completed my new pc which I can't believe I even did without any faults. I got windows 7 downloaded but plan to use the free upgrade to windows 10. But I am lost as to what drivers to download for the asus z97-a motherboard. I used the disk to download the lan driver otherwise it wouldn't let me connect to the internet. But now I am on the asus z97-a drivers page and there are like 68 possible files. I'm assuming they are not all needed, so if someone could help me out and tell me which ones I absolutely need that would be great.

Consider using the supplied cd to load the appropriate drivers.
Do not use the install all option or you will get some useless bloatware.
Install just the driver section of the cd.
You may not get the latest drivers, but you will be functional. In time, windows update may give you driver updates.
Windows 10 will update you whenever and however it wishes.
I would not update to 10 today unless there is a specific feature that you need.
It has been available for only 6 months and there are still fixes coming.
I particularly dislike that I can not control when updates are done.
If I am doing something critical, I do not want to be interrupted or have the possibility of an update failure that I need to recover from.

Alright I can download the needed things from the disk but I just wanted to make sure they are the updates ones so that it works to its best ability. And for windows 10 I had it downloaded before and I love it.
