I was playing a game then the computer switched off. On reboot the computer now goes to turn on for a second then it seems to crash again ( on board leds turn off and the hard drive sounds like it stops) then begins to turn on again but gets stuck on error code d6 and the vga and boot device leds go on. Also none of the fans connected to the motherboard or the light on the gpu turns on. I have tried the gpu in the other pcie slots and the same error occurs.
I reset the cmos and it is working fine now any idea why this could have happened. Computer is only about 6 months old.
