We live in a rather large house and our router is not strong enough to cover the whole house. For some reason my family set up 3 different routers all with their own wifi network. We only have one ISP though.
It makes no sense to me. The normal way to do it is one router with one or more repeater/extender, right? Which way is better for our needs? Does having multiple networks lessen the load on each and lead to faster speeds or is it pointless?
I'm not the one who set up our wifi. I just came home to this and think it's strange. Plus, having to know and enter multiple wifi passwords is somewhat annoying.
