I am looking for a motherboard that is good for gaming, video editing, and overclocking. I plan on hackintoshing to run Final Cut Pro X and eventually upgrade to Adobe Premeire. The two motherboards I am looking at now are the Asus x99 Deluxe/U3.1 and the RAMPAGE V EXTREME/U3.1. The deluxe is more in my price range and preferably anything under $400 US. I am willing to go a bit over that limit. If you have any suggestions regarding hackintosh that would be really helpful. The only one I am aware of is tony mac x 86. Are there any better ones that are optimized for the latest OS, El Capitan? The other components in my build are:
CPU: Intel Core i7-5930K 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i GTX 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 DRAM 2666MHz (PC4-21300) C16 Memory Kit - Black (CMK32GX4M2A2666C16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 850 EVO SSD
(x2) Western Digital BLACK SERIES 4TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB Classified ACX 2.0+ Video Card
Case: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB Classified ACX 2.0+ Video Card
Power Supply: Corsair RM 1000W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

I already own the case and power supply from my previous regretably AMD build. The case supports Mini-ITX, MicroATX, ATX, E-ATX, XL-ATX.

How did this setup workout? I am also looking into a hackintosh but with a 6800k instead. Still looking for a motherboard. Any issues or suggestions from your experience?
Thanks!
