Looking to upgrade a friends computer but I only have about $40 -50 to spend on it. He has a HP Compaq Presario CQ5320F. He only plays simple games like minecraft, tf2. The Specs are

PROCESSOR MAKE
AMD (Phenom II) (Athlon II X2 240)

PROCESSOR SPEED
2.8 GHz

Dual-core

GRAPHICS ADAPTER
Integrated nForce 430 - I believe

RAM BUS / SPEED
DDR3 (1333) (240-pin DIMM)
3 Gb Ram

CHIPSET
NVIDIA (NVIDIA nForce MCP61P Chipset)

Motherboard
I have no clue

Solution
Per the specs I linked, it has a 250 watt PSU. The GT 730 recommends at least a 300 watt PSU for the system. The HD5450/6450 both recommend at least a 400 watt PSU.

You should really be looking at a larger upgrade with a larger budget. What I would recommend is upgrading the processor, graphics card, and power supply. Unfortunately, the graphic cards that I would recommend for your budget upgrade would also require a power supply upgrade.
