Fx6300 or FX8320 for a m5a78l m usb3?

Wondering if I could run an 8320 on this motherboard. Not worried about overclocking noting this board could probably barely run just the 8320 by itself.

So should I go with the 8320 or the 6300? It does say the motherboard does support up to 140w cpus.

It is supported but I would make sure to have good case airflow to keep the 4+1 VRM setup cool to avoid the chance of throttling. I would not expect good overclocking on this board with a 8350.

You think I could push an 8350 it does say that it is supported as well. I am worried about throttling issues.

What would you reccomend between the three? This computer is strictly for gaming as I have a laptop for other needs.

And you think it could run OK on that motherboard? I'm about to take the plunge here lol. I'm guessing I would need like a 3rd cooling fan?

It should run fine, I would just make sure to have case fans installed. Have you bought any of the hardware yet at all? Intel is usually the better choice for gaming rigs but AMD's prices can be awfully temping.

Yeah I have I got the parts for pretty cheap kind of a budget PC
