Which motherboard is better for the i5 6400

Solution
the main difference I see is the MSI has a re-enforced PCIe slot, but this is only applicable if you have a huge video card. the MSI also appears to have more voltage circuitry than the gigabyte.

as they both share the same chipset they will perform almost the same. the differences above make the MSI stand out (to me) as a better board. IMHO

Honestly, I wouldn't get either. If you want a quality board:
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H170-PRO-GAMING/

or

http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Fatal1ty%20H170%20Performance/

ASUS is always my first choice, but when they are too expensive, ASRock is another great brand.

Actually it will be gaming machine with i5 6400 and r9 280x ... :D But i can't really afford that expensive mobo right now . i don't want much futures . I only want it to support intel turbo boost 2.0 and Dual channel . If i wont overclock than why should i spend 100 + for a motherboard ?
