Hello everyone,
Yesterday i bought a second Gtx 970 to run in sli. I installed it, and everything was ok. Until, suddenly after 5 minutes my pc rebooted itself. After 5 more minutes it did it again! So after the third reboot, it didnt went on again. When i unplug the power cord, and plug it in again. The leds on the motherboard all work, but if i press the power switch, all fans will start to turn and after one second, everything is quiet... i've checked the psu and it seems to work just fine with an old small mobo and an old gpu. I've read things about power suply units that are dead and deliver continuous power (5v) which will light up the leds in my mobo. Btw, the old system was booting.
Is there a way that the psu may be broken and not able to deliver the amount of power my current system needs?

My system:
Mobo: asus maximus vii ranger
Cpu : i5-4440
Gpu : 2x Asus GTX 970 Strix OC
Psu : Corsair CX750M

Please help, i need my pc repaired!
Thanks in advance.

I read a review recently where a Corsair CX750 was tested, and they found it maxxed out at 600W!!

Your PC with one 970gtx would probably need about 500W
Another 970gtx in SLI needs another 145W.
If your power supply is the same as the one that was reviewed, it couldn't supply enough power.

Have a look on the PSU tier list on this site to find a better quality psu
