How can I make my new monitor's colors similar to my old one?

So I got a new monitor a few weeks ago, but I haven't been using it. My old monitor is an HP 2311 series, and I am running it on the custom setting. It is off of the "gaming" setting, and colors seem to be richer, darker, and whites seem to be whiter while shades of grey look blacker, compared to my new one. No matter how much tuning I did on my new one, I couldn't make it look like my new one, the colors are just too washed out and bright, and the picture has a warmer hue. One aspect of this is that blacks or darker colors really are hard to tell distinctly. I am wondering what setting or term this is because the brightness is all the way up and the contrast is 79. My new monitor's 'gaming' mode makes it so that colors are warmer, and washed out, and using that prefix is the only one that allows me to adjust the saturation to my desire. The monitor is a Dell 27 inch monitor, S2715H. If anyone could provide me with help I would appreciate it as I would rather not have to return this monitor. Thank you!!

You will never get them the same. The HP is TN panel, the Dell is a IPS panel. both way different technologies that give different results of color, brightness, etc. Best way to get matching monitors is to buy two of the same monitor, at the same time. Even buying another same model 6 months down the road could result in a different panel brand inside. Dell buys it's screens from Samsung, LG, whoever has them cheap and instock, so you can buy two Dell's that look a bit different because they have different screen models inside.

In your case though, you have two different technologies at play, and they will look very different.
