Never-ending slow internet problem?

Hello, lately i got this big problem that is disturbing my gaming experience, downloading, messaging or just surfing the internet.

So the problem is, i got huge internet speed slowdown almost everyday, and almost everything that requires internet connection is inaccesible.

I'm saying almost everyday because it happens for about 30-50 minutes, and then it stopped, but then a few hours later, it happened again, and then it stopped, and it keeps repeating, almost everyday.

In Online multiplayer video games, i play on servers with over 30-50 ping, always under 100, but if this problem happened, ping goes up to 999, and a page on an internet browser won't load up.

Speedtest results: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/5004871282

By the way i use a fiber-optic cable, if you are wondering.

P.S this happens to any devices that used my wi-fi connection, not just my computer.

I have contacted my ISP, but they didn't responded, yet. Any replies would be really appreciated, thanks in advance.

Well....we're just trying to eliminate possibilities...

Either your router's WiFi is defective/dying or local interference is messing it up.

Try using a wired connection to bypass your router's WiFi and see if that helps. If your internet connection still turns unusable with a wired connection, then the router itself might be crashing/failing, not just the WiFi part of it.

here in the us when that happens ad it about the same time every day then your looking at overloaded isp hardware. when you see the slowdown. go into your cable modfem or router and try using google dns or open dns see if the speed changes. if not try unplugging your cable modem to see it it log on to another node that not over loaded.

I don't own a microwave, and i don't have a cordless phone either, and what is an overlapping channel? I don't know that.

If you're using channel 6 on your WiFi, and a close neighbor is also using channel 6....the two routers will be butting heads.

As mentioned above, try it wired for a while. See what happens.

My close neighbor(s) that i know does not use WiFi (yes they don't), and so you meant that i'll have to use a wired connection?

Well....we're just trying to eliminate possibilities.
Either the WiFi is faulty/congested
or
the router is faulty
or
the signal from the ISP is faulty/oversubscribed/whatever

Troubleshooting 101.
The easiest to remove from the problem possibilities is the WiFi.
Run a Cat5e direct to the router for a while. See what happens.
