Hello, currently i'm not sure of the choices that i'm doing for my PC gaming build, my current PC is:

GeForce 9500GT 512MB DDR3
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 @ 2,66 GHz
4GB DDR2 RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Operating System
ASUS P5KPL-AM SE Motherboard
450W PSU

9500GT is too slow for some modern games, so i'd buy a GTX 460, it's not the best for gaming, i know, but i don't even think my PC could handle modern GPU cards. So after i saw GTX 460's requirements, it needs about 450w PSU, i guess, and my PC only have 450w PSU, and i'm not sure that it could handle the 460..

So the title says it all, can my PSU handle it? Sorry if i didn't mention any specs of the PSU, i swapped PSUs with my brother's old PSU, because my old one is broken, and i don't even know my brother's PSU specs.. Thanks in advance.

Oh.. So you meant that the AC input on the PSU is not important? Okay then. Sorry about this, i'm a newbie in computer stuff, i just became a PC gamer about months ago...

Is the computer working now with the PSU in question installed? If so, you are likely okay.

Knowing the actual model number will allow us to assess if the PSU is sufficient to power the system in the long run. Not all PSUs are created equally, regardless of wattage ratings, in terms of performance, reliability, etc.
