I have a Qnix 2710 QHD monitor and an HP 8300 computer with an I5 3570 and Intel HD Graphics 2500. When I click on the HD Graphics 2500 icon it lists 1920x1080 at 60hz (HD) as the highest resolution. You can input custom settings like 2560x1600 at 60hz. The problem is a warning comes up that says you can damage your computer if you customize the settings. Is there anybody out there that is running HD Graphics 2500 at 2560x1600 at 60hz? Are there any problems? I'm not gaming like this but would like to watch movies at 2560x1600 without any damage to the computer.

I'm running from displayport to DVI-D with an adapter until my display port cable comes in. I know display port will support 2560x1600 but still, when you go to up the resolution the warning comes up. I'd like to find someone out there that is doing it without any problems.
