choosing a graphics card?

I would like to upgrade from my graphics card, and I was wondering how would I go about choosing a better upgrade. I currently use http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202025 and I would know how to go about getting a better update I am looking to spend 300 to 500 on it. I know this won't get me a pro card, but I would like to improve my experience. I will be running a i7 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117559 and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813182978 Also any recommendations would be welcomed.

970-R9 390-R9 390x or 960-380.

What resolution do you use? do you think in upgrade?

I will go for 390 OR 390x if its in your budget, also you will need a 650~750w PSU.
