Yes. It will. However the CPU is a bit weak. It would be worth spending the bit extra and getting at least an i5 with 4 physical cores. A better CPU will also benefit you in software engineering, especially if your compiling code and working with projects ect.

I think this computer specs can run games but not the latest games that we have. The very best way how to check if your computer capable to run a latest games, check the system requirements attach of your games installer files, all the instructions including hardware like processor and RAM listed there. Your specs is good and durable because its Intel processor but if you want to unleash the power of gaming and you have budgets in it. I suggest I5 or I7 and configure OC and good cooling system of your PC.

Yes my friend that's why prepare for latest i5 or i7 quad core processors, its better for gaming and running high application softwares. But still depend always of the system requirements of the softwares you need to install.

Yes agreed. But, generally and realistically speaking, if you are running an i5 4th series Haswell or later, with a GTX 970. It will play any game going. Regardless of checking the specs.
