Motherboard compatibility issue need a fix

My asus motherboard p8h61 -m csm r2.0 i think has a compatibility issue with my evga gtx 680 signature 2 i tried another card to make sure the pcie slot was even working the slot is fine and that card worked just fine but its a piece of junk used for testing im just wondering if theres a way i can fix my bios to make it work with my card i have enough power i have 600w bronze certified psu my bios are the latest update is there a setting i need to switch switching the primary output doesnt work for some reason it defaults to auto thanks in advance
