how to convert 4 gb limitation to default storage

i have 16 gb FAT 32 hp pd but when i want to copy file having more than 5 gb than display a error like 4 gb storage limit..
pd is empty but when i convert FAT 32 to NTFS than copy is done correctly .....
please give me solution how to remove this error .....

A 'solution' is to format your drive as NTFS. It is impossible to store a file larger than 4 Gb on FAT32.
