Hi everybody, I'm having an issue with my Windows 7 where it says the message "Failure to Configure Windows Updates Reverting Changes". This is a fresh PC build. As usual, it asked to update everything. There was a total of 200 something updates. The message came after the updates were finished. I have googled solutions where they say to go into safe mode and such to access the command prompt. However, even if I go into safe mode after resetting from the switch, the message comes up. I'm not sure what else to do. I'm not sure if this information is relevant, but I have not validated windows with a key yet. If that is the issue please let me know and I'll get one to see if it works. Thanks!

Solution
That could the issue, because I think Windows update needs a valid Windows 7 instillation in order to install and download the updates.

Try activating your copy of Windows and try again.
