I made a thread here yesterday about losing sound and videos not playing about 15-20 min after I overclocked for the first time. I was pretty sure that overclocking the CPU wouldn't have anything to do with that but just to be sure I went from 4.1 to 3.9 on my skylake i5-6600k. I restarted the PC and everything was normal.

About 1 hour later (running at 3.9) I wanted to open Star Wars Battlefront and check the performance/temps. After 1 sec my screen started getting kind of snowy, basically like the hdmi cable wasn't in all the way. So I quit the game and it was still snowy while on my desktop. I checked the cable, it did not seem loose or anything. I then just plugged it in and out from my GPU, then it was back to normal.

I have not changed any settings other than the multiplier in the BIOS, because I was pretty sure I wouldn't need it since im not overclocking high. CAN THIS BE THE PROBLEM? SHOULD I INCREASE THE VOLTAGE?

While running RealBench for 15 min my temps never got above 40 celcius with a hyper 212 air cooler.

Any ideas what may cause there things? Is it the OC? Windows 10?
