I just put together a new rig
CASE: NZXT Phantom 530 Matte Black
GPU: ASUS STRIX GTX 970 4gb
CPU: I5 4460k 3.2Ghz
CPU Cooler: Corsair H55 Liquid water cooler
RAM: Kingston HyperX FURY 1866Mhz (2x8) 16gb
MOTHERBOARD: MSI PC mate H97 LGA 1150
OS: WIN 10 Home x64
Using the i5 for now until my i7 4790k comes in, however. Is the i5 4460k really that junk to be landing me at around 100-150 fps on LOWEST all settings even with that kind of GPU? It's frustrating as I am using a 144 Hz monitor and constantly see the screen tare.
I took the i5 out of an old prebuilt ASUS PC. I had around the same FPS with that PC as well.
