I'm trying to run Witcher 3 on my new custom PC, and it says I need DirectX 11 installed, which was installed automatically when I installed Windows 7.
OS: Windows 7 SP1
CPU: Intel i5 4460
Graphics MSI GeFroce 960 Gaming 2GB
RAM: GSkill Sniper Series (2x4GB)
I tried the following:
1. Reinstalling Steam
2. Reinstalling Witcher 3
3. Performing a clean install of the graphics driver
4. Checking my PC for Windows updates
5. Checking for DirectX 11 updates
6. Restartnig the PC
7. Booting the PC in safe mode (for what it's worth)
Nevertheless, I still get the message that I need DirectX 11 to run Witcher 3. Is this a graphics card update I'm missing, or something else?
