I already have 8 GB of Corsair 2x4GB (8GB) DDR3 CML8GX3M2A1600C9 (1.5v, 9 - 9 - 9 - 24) installed on the slot 2 and 4, as recommended in the manual. After nearly 2 years I finally realized I can run them @1600Mhz instead of 1333 (lol yeah...) by enabling the XMP profile in my Asus bios.
Now for the question:
I happen to have 2 previous sticks of Kingston DDR3 RAM - 1600Mhz KHX1600C9D3B1K2/4GX. ( 9-9-9-27 at 1.65V )
Can I install this and get 12GB of 1600MHz out of it? Or drop the idea because it's not compatible due to latency and the operating voltage difference? And just in case, do I install them staggered with the existing Corsair RAM, i.e. slot 1&3, 2&4? or normally like Kingston slot 1&2, Corsair 3&4?
Would be nice to run ARK without using "4GB low memory mode" to get playable FPS (or at least see how it looks like before going back lol).
