Several BSOD errors when booting and now no longer booting.

I have quite an interesting issue that all took place as soon as I upgraded my ram. I kept getting several BSOD errors when trying to boot dual channel with my new ram(2x8 PNY anarchy 1600 ddr3 kit).

I ran memtest86 with both sticks in. 3000+ errors from test 3-7. Didn't even bother finishing since from what others have said on here(1 error is 1 too many). Then I did single stick tests. One stick no errors all the way through 4 passes, the other stick had errors in test 5 and 7-8, so I did an even exchange at the place I purchased the kit and also had extra cash so decided to upgrade my CPU from the AMD fx 4300 to the fx 8320.

Reset bios, installed the new CPU and ram, and then attempted to clean install to my hard drive, however it wouldn't even finish installing without BSOD and restarting.

I checked to make sure everything was seated properly and installed correctly, made sure there was no bent pins on the CPU, thermal paste, header check for the fan, but still kept getting errors, until I tried booting it again and it wouldn't even post to BIOS. The CPU fan ran slowly until eventually it would stop and the computer would shut down. I thought perhaps the CPU is bad, so I reinstalled the old processor and it booted just fine with both CPU fans tested, so I went back to do an even exchange on the same CPU, and now I'm here.

Ultimately I don't believe lightning strikes twice in the same spot. 2 brand new kits of ram failing, and a brand new CPU failing?

My next step is switching out the MOBO because I'm almost convinced all this trouble is the result of a failing board, but it's quite difficult since my board isn't really that old(maybe a little over a year and a half old).

My question is this: Has anyone else had such bad luck and what steps did you take to rectify the problem?

I can't really give you a detailed report of my computer or provide a cloud link to a memory dump since I don't have a working computer and typing this on my phone has given my thumbs a nice cramp, but I'll see what I can provide

MOBO: Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3(rev 4.0)
Processor: AMD fx-8320 8 core 3.5ghz
Ram: 16gb(2x8 PNY anarchy 1600 ddr3)
PSU: Antec 650w 80 plus gold
GPU: PNY GTX 960 2gb
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm SATA 500gb.

Thanks for any insight provided.
