Hi, I have an HP 2000 2c20NR notebook pc on Windows 10. I recently got the 90b fan error. when I skip the error,

windows boots up fine but, when doing daily work the laptop increasingly gets hot.
***UPDATE***
Cleaned out the fan, put in new cpu and re-did the thermal paste on the cpu and gpu. The computer only shoots out cold air now.

The computer seems boot up fine with no errors and I get very low temperatures, but my computer still shuts off unexpected when playing games or just doing daily as if the laptop is still overheating. Any ideas???

The fact that the air coming from the computer is always cold isn't necessarily a good thing. You want your fans to cool down the system, so you want the hot air to come out.

Try something, Install HWMonitor64 and Prime95. Run Prime 95 while keeping an eye on the CPU temperature that HWMonitor64 reports. If the temperature goes past 70C, I'd recommend you stop the test. Technically, your CPU is supposed to have an internal limit of 90 degrees Celcius, so it would make sense that it shuts down if it gets there, but it doesn't make sense that it reaches that temperature while gaming or doing daily tasks.

I also see you said
, did you change the Pentium 2020m that came with your notebook?

***NOT A SOLUTION JUST A REPLY FOR FUTHER HELP***
My bad for not elaborating. My memory wasn't correct. My laptop wasn't shutting down before I got my new cpu,it was after I got it.
I updated my bios to the latest version. At first, when Installed my new cpu my fan went so fast, I thought it was going to literally explode! But back then, the hinges to my laptop were poking on my fan, explaining the 90b error.

I Solved the error. Got a new laptop base and lid. I unscrewed the cpu and replaced the thermal paste to my computer. Then the problem started happening. I mean it's good thermal paste but then again THIS random shut down thing is happening. To note when I replaced my cpu, I unscrewed and cleaned. Do certain computers need certain thermal paste???

Sound to me like it's either overheating or your PSU isn't capable of keeping up. If you really changed your CPU, the 2nd option might be the most plausible one. However, if you simply replaced the original one by another one of the same model, then it would look like an overheating problem. I would definitely recommend that you monitor your CPU temperature by using one of the free pieces of software available out there, so you'll know if it really is an overheating problem. A CPU is very fragile and while most motherboards are designed to shut down the computer when the CPU reads a temperature considered too high, that threshold is usually way higher than the manufacturer's recommended limit. Notebooks are particularly vulnerable when it comes to overheating, as they are small and very compact. If it is overheating, you could start by trying to underclock your processor, which would make it a bit slower, but also reduce the heat it produces. You could also try to improve the airflow by purchasing an external laptop fan, which would improve your laptop's cooling capabilities.
