Hello, I realized the ssd in my Zenbook Ux31e ( nearly 3 Yeas old) is pretty slow.

Should I save my Data and get a new one?

I'm interested in a samsung 850 evo 250gb M.2 + adapter

You could certainly get much better performance with the newer drive. Whether or not you would notice the difference depends on your workload and how sensitive you are.

Quite a few people have reported success using SSD adapters for Zenbooks, but there is still some risk that things wouldn't fit.
