Bought MSI Geforce nvidia GTX 970, PC can't start. Please help

Good afternoon, I just bought MSI Geforce nvidia GTX 970, and changed it (my old: geforce 550 ti). Problem is that, I can't even turn on my computer. I press power switch and nothing happens. I changed back to 550 ti, everything works fine again. I upgraded my BIOS, but as I see, nothing helped. My motherboard: GA-H61M-DS2 Gigabyte

Before you install the 970 do a full uninstall of the old GPU (Google DDU for a good utility for this). Then, re-install the new GPU. Should fire up in low-res mode until you re-install the newest drivers.

is your psu strong enough? whats your wattage?

Thankyou for answers. I bought new psu, it's 550 W. I think it's good enough, when I'll get home, i will post it's name. Also I will try #1 solution. Will write results here. Have a nice day.

unfortunately, uninstalling video drivers (DDU) didn't help. PC still didn't respond to new video card.

You plugged in the PCIE 6/8-pins power connectors into the GPU right? the ones on the back?
