Sorry for boring topic, but I need a blazing fast web app PC

I know y'all are the experts on tricked-out gaming rigs, but I hope someone will indulge me as I have no idea where else to turn. I need to be able to use web apps in dozens of open Chrome tabs with as much speed as possible. I'll do basic streaming video and basic productivity software (ala MS Office) too, but 90+% of the time I'll be juggling tabs with spreadsheets and whatnot and just need them to go quick and painlessly. And, it needs to be prebuilt (sorry!).

From what I've read, it looks like an SSD is a big key to speed, so I'm looking at this from Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883102087 How does that look? Any thoughts? Anything jump out at you that I'm really lacking there? Price seem OK?

Any advice y'all can give would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Solution
Yeah the one you picked looks like a dodgy power supply.

If you can get someone to build you this I think it will work really well:

I just picked integrated graphics because you said it's mainly for web stuff, gave you lots of ram so you can open loads of tabs, and a fast ssd to run everything on.

Either one should be good for what you want to accomplish. PSU is a bit overkill but it's one of the best you can get in that price range.

I'd love to spend as little, as possible, of course, but anywhere in the $500-$900 range would be fine. I really need a prebuilt system though, as I've never done more than put new memory in, and I don't have time to learn to build a computer now.

You're not going to find a good prebuilt PC in that price range - just about any major PC vendor will go cheap on critical components like the power supply which will almost immediately need to be replaced in the first year. Not to mention most have extremely poor build quality. If you don't want to build it yourself it's very easy to find someone who will do it for you - maybe you know someone in IT, or there's a local repair shop nearby, or something. But really, stay away from pre built PCs in this price range.

Understood. I take it the power supply (or other parts) with the one I posted above from Newegg is likely to be lacking?

I'll see if I can find a way to get it built. Thanks!

Ah yes, there is a Microcenter near by. I hadn't heard of them, but it looks like that just might work. I'll look at the build too. Thank you so much, this is tremendously helpful!
