This is my PC build:

Asus Strix GTX 970
FX 8320
Dell montor s2216h
Kingston Hyperx ram 8GB
Corsair VS550 PSU
Asus M5A97 R2.0 MoBo

I have read a lot of forums on Tomshardware suggesting that a good PSU s needed to support a high end graphics card. Last I checked many people recommended Corsair VS550 PSU as it is the ideal choice for me as a budget gamer. So I wanted to know whether my PSU would cause trouble in the future or running games as of now?

I have an i5 4460 with a GTX 970 and they use to be powered by a cruddy CX 500w as I carried it across from my old FM2 system. It was starting to make loud loading kinds of clunking noises so I got a EVGA G2 550w Gold PSU, totally worth it and the system only used 144w while idle and 400-450w under load.
