So i just built my new PC on Saturday and it works almost perfectly. Everything runs fine except when i play certain games they will crash to the desktop without any warning like i alt f4'd or something. There isn't a set rhyme or reason either as its sporadically. Part way into a few Heroes of The Storm matches its crashed to the desktop. 10-20 minutes into a payday game it crashed and after restarting it, it was almost every 5 minutes. Then anytime a game of payday started i would crash. On rainbow 6 siege i was in a game and on subsequent starts it crashes on startup.
My specs:
CPU: intel core-i7 6700k
GPU: MSI 980ti
OS: win 10 64 bit
PSU: corsair 750w rm
RAM: 16 gigs ddr4 G.skill ripjaw
mobo: MSI 170a M7
hdd- 3tb black
ssd- samsung 250g
As far as trying things i dont think its a hardware problem as ive run 3d Mark fully without crash and Aida 64 extreme without crash. I think my power should be good as my computer hasnt crashed and as far as heat my cpu is water cooled with a kraken and under stress hasnt been higher than 36c and my gpu runs at about 65c under load and 40-45c idle.
