Hey there!

So I just purchased the MSI 390 and I just installed and am now having issues. I installed the graphics card and the it turns on (great!) but when I say put on Rainbow six my monitor automatically goes black, system on and I can still hear everything.

My system before:
CPU AMD 8350
GPU ASUS Strix R9 380 4GB
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3
1TB Hard Disk
240 GB SSD

The power supply I have is a 750W Solid Gear Neutron.

My only guess is the graphics card is not receiving enough power? But I am not entirely sure. I bought the card brand new but there may be a possibility of it being defective?

Solution
Get a real power supply unit instead of that generic Solid Gear trash that can't even supply the power specified on its label.

Download ddu and select amd. Select clean and shut down. Then take the gpu out of the pci slot and check for dust, reseat the card firmly, make sure all the wires are secured, etc. Then boot, go to amd's website and download a fresh set of the latest drivers and install.

lol You know you are probably right. That was my first assumption. I turn on RB6 and everything but once there is actual gameplay the screen goes black especially when say a flash bang goes off. I tried the clean install (DDU) and the same thing occurred, I did use the amd clean uninstall utility before installing the new GPU.

Tried all that still no go. Turned Battlefront on and the screen minimizes once you get into the menu.
