Hi Everybody. I recently bought an ASUS K501UX laptop with GTX 950M and Intel® Core i7 6500U Processor. The problem is that when I play games with the laptop connected to a monitor, the game will run fine for about half and hour or so and then the monitor will start randomly displaying a black screen for a few seconds before returning to normal.
The game itself is still running as is everything else but the monitor displays a black screen for a few seconds. I am using a HDMI connection. When I do not connect the laptop to a monitor and play games I have absolutely no problems.
Things I've tried after looking at similar situations:
-Two different monitors each with their own different HDMI cables
-Clean reinstall of video drivers
-Furmark and Heaven benchmark (I don't know what the numbers really mean - the temperature was steady for the Furmark test for about 5 hours and the heaven benchmark just showed my FPS)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
