Hi Guys,
Before i start just wanted to to state i am not very good with computers so if im not making any sense i apologise.
A few months back i bought an Asus DirectCU II OC Graphics Card (Currently have a NVIDIA GeForce GT 545, very outdated!), but i ran into two problems when trying to fit the card.
Problem one, power supply. Since its quite an upgrade from my current card, the power supply i curently have isnt powerful enough to run the new card nor is it compatible with it, so im going to have to buy a power supply that is powerful enough to power this graphics card, and compatible with a new motherboard.
Problem two, motherboard. My current motherboard is a Pegatron Corporation 2AB5 version 1.01, which is apparently not compatible with the new card either according to the person a PCWorld, and will definitely need a new one that is compatible with the new card.
So my question to you is, what would be the best solution, and what motherboards and power supplies would be compatible with both themselves and my new card? no real budget restrictions. thanks!
Additional Specs, Processor: Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3,40GHz (8CPUs), ~3.4GHz
8192MB RAM
