Everytime I play games or watch videos with alot of movement a line apears in the top part of the monitor. It seems like some kind of graphical line or wave of some sort.

I have no idea what to do or how to fix such a thing. Have anybody had this problem or know how to fix something like this?
I tested it and it happens on different monitors and it doesn't matter if a DVI og HDMI caple is used.
I read about it online, but couldn't come to any hard conclusions other than it might be a GPU related problem.

CPU: i7 4790K
GPU: Asus strix GTX 970
Ram: HyperX 16 GB ram (1866 MHz)
Motherboard: ASROCK z97 pro3 ATX SSD:
Samsung 840 EVO 250 gb
PSU: Cooler master GM series 650W

OK can I just go into device manager and uninstall the GTX 970 driver instead of removing the GPU? I cannot find my esp band so i don't really feel like touching it atm. But if i uninstall the driver shouldnt it work aswell?

ok I found the esp band and ended up removing the gpu. Me and my roomate tested it and i am 100% sure that the ripples or lines are more clear when the GPU is in effekt. The video we tested on was on lower resolution without the GPU and my roommate said he saw some lines, but i am sure it was far worse with the GPU in the pc.

If you get it on several monitors (presuming they are good quality and not the same) with Intel HD Graphics (are the drivers installed?) and your GPU and your cables are good quality, then something else is causing the issue. Have you tested the PC on a different circuit and/or in a different room?
