I'm on a budget, (<400) and I want to build a PC that can run a modern game at more than 20 fps. Can you suggest parts please? Thanks in advance.

Solution
Buy a console. Playing modern games on that budget is next to impossible, especially when you add in $100 for an operation system, that 25% of your budget.

As getochkn said it would be cheaper Idea to get a console to play the newest games for under $400 especially since the new gen consoles are now anywhere from 250-350 depending on if you get a preowned one.

Where's the $100 OS, because we certainly don't support piracy here at Tom's, so they would need Windows to play the games they listed that they want to play.

Not to mention that these budget builds always skimp on the PSU.
