I'm on a budget, (<400) and I want to build a PC that can run a modern game at more than 20 fps. Can you suggest parts please? Thanks in advance.

Buy a console. Playing modern games on that budget is next to impossible, especially when you add in $100 for an operation system, that 25% of your budget.

Is that 400 USD? Also you don't want less than 30fps. If GBP you might just make something but your really in console territory

Try and get a used gaming machine on ebay or similar. If it is less than 5 years old, it should still be useable, maybe with the addition of a gtx950 graphic card

As getochkn said it would be cheaper Idea to get a console to play the newest games for under $400 especially since the new gen consoles are now anywhere from 250-350 depending on if you get a preowned one.

Getting a regular i3 or i5 machine and adding a 750ti is an option here.
