For some reason my pc keeps crashing ever since i took out some of the hard ware parts to dust and clean my pc( note i did not spray anything in the pc . I simply just took out some parts and blew some dust out before putting the parts back in place)

And i certain i put every part back in correctly and firmly in its place but for some reason my pc still keeps crashing. I suspected it could be my graphics card as it gets hot quite a lot especially when im playing games its temperature reaches around 40-48 degrees but thats quite low in fact i dont know what else could be causing this problem its really frustrating.

My pc specs

Windows 10 os
32 gb ram
1200 watts PSU
Nvidia msi gtx 980 graphics card
Intel i7 cpu
Asus rampage 4 extreme over clocking mobo

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you migrate to Windows 10 via the free upgrade path or the licensed key method? If the free upgrade path you may need to reinstall your OS as Windows 10 has a habit of being a little too picky with components and the way they are arranged. In fact there are documented cases where a mere opening of the chassis to disconnect and reconnect a 24pin motherboard cable gave the same result as you've mentioned above. It would also be a good idea to recreate your bootable USB installer to rule out a corruption in your installer.

If you can get into your desktop without crashing try and perform a repair install and see if the issue is averted. Might also want to check on your system having the latest BIOS and...

Thanks for the reply. My pc is fine now. At first i upgraded it as part of the free windows 10 upgrade. It was ok for a while then the problems happened. I reinstalled windows 7 again and it was fine. I installed windows 10 again this time manually by going on the microsoft website and downloading it myself. After installing it again the same problems happened for a while. But after a few updates that were installed on windows 10 it stopped. I dont know what exactly fixed the problem. But im just glad its fixed. I did also do a disk defragment too. Maybe it could have been that ?

Can't say as this has been happening to alot out there and the worst hit so far is people with Realtek audio solutions onboard. Even after latest driver updates the sound card refuses to cooperate with OS or user input.

Are you sure I've provided an answer since you solved your issue on your own :)
