Hi, I have a question based on the comparability of a graphics card with a motherboard. I currently have a msi 970a-g46 socket am3+ and Im looking at an XFX R9 380 4GB, will these two work together nicely? My concern just comes from the fact the mobo is just over 2 years old and I dont wanna waste a purchase

the newer pci cards will fit on your mb. with newer cards some times there can be bios bugs. most vendor wont know till a product been out for a bit. most video cards if there is a bug the mb wont post without a bios update. you can check to see when the last bios update dropped for your mb.
