I had an issue with a memory stick as it died and I took at the pieces from my comp apart (I didn't initially know it was the RAM).

Anyway, put it back together and now my graphics card goes crazy and starts to heat but ONLY when watching streaming video (NOT YOUTUBE though... not sure why) and when I scroll a page and there are a large number of images (artstation etc.)

I tried to see if it's dirty or dusty on the inside but it's not and I cleaned what dust was there.

Note, I use after effects and others programs with no issues and the card is silent.

Card is and old AMD Radeon HD 5850

Solution
Sounds like a very particular problem.

Are the loud fans a big problem for you, or are you just concerned?
If it isn't a problem, I really wouldn't worry about it.

Are you using Chrome?
What I would recommend is opening your streaming in Internet Explorer. See if that fixes your fan problem.
(when a page with lots of images makes your fans go crazy, copy the URL and paste it into Internet Explorer.)
