So I have a USB headset (Steelseries Diablo 3 Sibera v2) and the mic has stopped working due to a loose connection. I've tried it in multiple different USB slots, including ones attached to the motherboard, case slots and even extension cables. The speakers work fine it's purely the mic, I can wiggle it/squeeze the connection when using an extention cable and get it to work but it only stays working while I'm holding it in position.
So I guess I'm asking is there any way to fix this? Is it possible to pull the male connection apart to squeeze everything back in place?
