hey guys, i have a MSI R9 270x gaming edition card. Recently the idle core clock is at 1120MHz and the memory is at 1400MHz. i remembered before the core clock would be around 300Mhz, i don't remember the memory clock but it was also much lower. i have the MSI gaming app which automatically OC it to 1120MHz but even when it is closed or uninstalled and i restarted the computer the clocks stay high even though there is no gpu load. this isn't hurting anything, the temps are still fine, but i would be happier if it would go back down. i have the Crimson 15.12 drivers installed and windows 7 service pack 1 installed. if anyone has any ideas why this is happening i would appreciate the help. if you need anymore info either just ask. Thank You!

Ams cards are a nightmare for this. All 4 I've had have done it at some point. Often it needs a driver uninstall, run ddu in safe mode, then reinstall. Don't use the oc tool as that messed my msi card up. Use afterburner to monitor if needed

Is There any long turn problem that can come of this? and so reinstalling the driver should fix the high idle clocks then?
