Hello! I am very ignorant when it comes to everything in relation to PC Tech. I do not know when you need liquid cooling and when you need air cooling. If you could tell me what would be best, I would really appreciate it, thanks. :bounce:

Specs:
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-4790 3.60 GHz 8MB Intel Smart Cache LGA1150
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 4GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 (Maxwell)
SSD + HDD:128GB SanDisk SSD + 2TB SATA III Hard Drive

Solution
I have had a i5 3750 @ 3.4GHz for almost 4 years now, runs like a Champ with intel standard cooler, A-OK... I dont think you need any sort of cooler if you have a non-K CPU...
UNLESS, you have a very compact casing, lots of wiring, only 1-2 fans, very low airflow... THEN, yes, get a CPU cooler... Air cooler, not Liquid.
Liquid cooler is ONLY for Overclocked K-version CPUs

Non K setup get a Cryorig H7.

No water needed.

Best budget cooler on the market.

Simple installation video here ^

Unmatched Compatibility
Zero RAM Interference

Focusing on providing the widest range of
compatibility, the H7 utilizes an asymmetric slanted
heatpipe layout to move the heatsink away from the
RAM zone, Offering optimal compatibility for RAM
with tall heat spreaders on both Intel 115X and
AMD platforms.
