Computer Turns On nothing on screen

Whenever i turn on my computer it works nut the monitor says no signal can someone please help me it never booted in the first place P.S Computer is newly built

GA78MLT Gigabyte Motherboard

Asus GTX C750 Ti

500 w Evga

Ballistix 2x4 8gb

Asus Optical drive

Acer 21.5 monitor

The first thing I would do is make sure you have a speaker hooked up to your motherboard. I'm not talking about audio out, I talking about the little row of pins that connect to your front panel. There you will find pins for LEDs, power switch, reset switch, etc... and speaker. Almost all computers give "beep" codes when you try to boot them. One short beep usually means "OK". However a different pattern of multiple long or short beeps are trying to communicate some hardware error. Find what the various beeps mean in your motherboard manual.

A little hole in a black plastic drum? That sounds like a piezo speaker. It's either attached to the M/B or there's wires coming out of it and attaching to the M/B pins. The hole is where the sound comes out. Are you getting any beeps?
